Use model full path: "models/zombie_plague/v_knife_zombie.mdl"
So in your case it should be set_pev(id, pev_viewmodel2, "models/zombie_plague/v_knife_zombie.mdl"). Use your generic zombie hand model.
So strange i tested on my pc i can't reproduce this bug. Mine is ZP4.3

Ah thanks, sorry, I'm mentally challenged

Problem is fixed when you have class as classic zombie and get infected, thanks a lot, but now if I have a different zombie class which has different zombie hands model, the same bug appears, I have jp as hands.

No need to set hand model since the player should be removed from jetpack before turning into zombie

No need to set hand model since the player should be removed from jetpack before turning into zombie

Using _pre will cause some issue in Touch forward, because in _pre the zp_get_user_zombie(id) will return false. Imagine when you are flying with JP and then zombie throw infect bomb, the jetpack dropped but if you touch it then you will have jetpack too.

My solution is very efficient now, remove v_ model huahaha.

That's a very nice explanation there, I don't really understand what you mean by remove v_model?

I mean to completely delete rocket v_ model, don't use it haha. It replace knife model by the way, i don't like my knife model become egon weapon.

That's not a bad idea, maybe you or somebody could do it since I'll probably end up removing stuff I shouldn't? If not I'll give it a shot tomorrow.

I don't have previous problem because I removed something I shouldn't, I added it back and it is working, I have knife instead of jp, just changed jp to give different item for hands instead of jp.

It's not big deal, but now I still have previous problem (have jp's hands when infected (knife in this case)) If I use this:

public zp_user_infected_post(id)

instead of this:

public zp_user_infected_pre(id)

If I use

public zp_user_infected_pre(id)

Is it bad for server? since he showed that script to show what it does, but it fixes the problem.
